I spent a few days in Uganda’s lake Victoria and it was truly surreal.
Uganda’s lakes are some of the best I’ve seen anywhere in the world but for a geography lesson:
Lake Victoria is one of the African Great Lakes. With a surface area of approximately 59,947 km², Lake Victoria is Africa’s largest lake by area, the world’s largest tropical lake, and the world’s second-largest fresh water lake by surface area after Lake Superior in North America.
Booking this stunning retreat in Entebbe with a 360 degrees view of the lake Victoria was definitely the icing on the cake.
The room truly offered a bird’s eye view of the lake as it was perched high up on the the only room perched high up on the third floor.
This was the highlight of my vacation in Uganda and i will definitely recommend the experience to anyone who wants to get away from it all and enjoy the stunning beauty of nature in Uganda.
